Recommended by a recruitment agency. On the day, the interviewer changed without explanation, with a manager standing in for the head of department. However, the manager was friendly and enthusiastic so the interview itself was a positive experience. I was advised to expect an outcome within a week. The recruiter informed that the interview had gone very well, though there was a delay in signing off on offers. Unfortunately it is now four weeks post-interview without any communication so I am assuming the position has been withdrawn. I spent a considerable amount of time and money attending, so would have preferred that the interview be cancelled or postponed if a hiring freeze was enacted.
