There will be two technical rounds followed by HR.
First two rounds will be purely technical and one has be to thorough with the basics.
If it is for java then basics should be revised and always provide the real life example one used in current working project.

The way defining job description and roles and responsibilities excellent.
There will be three rounds of interview.
First one technical, Second round Project responsibilities along with technical, Third one managerial round.
