My interview process stated during the companies transformation. I was interviewing on a employee referral from a Principal Director. I have worked in commodities and equities for over a decade and after over 3 months and 9 interviews!!! I was graced with the automated HR email saying, "sorry... we pass"...
I work on the trading floors, I was completely qualified for this job. With over a decade of experience in the industry people like me know the floor is not where long-term security is. So we take the opportunity, and the chance to move on to companies like finra and the SEC who hire people like us that are well qualified in all aspects... I sit here and watch who you have come down here as your examiners.. do better. Seriously...
There's great, qualified people like myself who care about the integrity of the markets way more than a salary. Stop passing us up...

tell me about what experience you have in trading and regulation
The interview consists of a lot of technical questions about 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 rules. It was two rounds with examination directors. I recommend studying on the rules and be prepared to a writing exam. They want someone with proper grasp of the English language.

Recruited at a job fair for an interview as a graduate student. Interview was not difficult, generally behavioral questions and an assessment of the role for which you were being interviewed.
Never heard back after follow-up with recruitment team.

Applied 4 times with management references. Finally got one interview. The same person interviewed me for the 2nd and 3rd round. Then I was ghosted. No notice about what happened. Of course, after a month I assumed I was not selected.
