Acudí a una entrevista en FICO (Londres, Inglaterra)
Entrevista
Initial video interview followed by an in person full day workshop, along with 6 - 10 other interview candidates. Made to do a collection of tasks, mainly focussed around presentation
Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en FICO (San Jose, CA) en oct 2018
Entrevista
One technical phone screen followed by an onsite. The phone screen consisted of conceptual questions about machine learning and a coding challenge. The onsite consisted of 5 30-minute interviews, 3 technical and 2 behavioral. Technical questions were mostly conceptual questions about machine learning - what is svm, logistic regression, sigmoid function, etc
Overall, the interviewers seemed very unfriendly. It was also difficult to understand what kind of answers they were looking for. They expect you to know obscure python libraries.
Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en FICO (San Diego, CA) en sept 2016
Entrevista
The interview is a day long. You will have 4 sessions with 2 people each. They will treat you to lunch. There is also a presentation. They will appear smart and ask you wide breadth and deep depth questions. However, they don't really do anything complicated themselves. They will cover programming/engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning/AI/Data Mining. All they do is use some basic Big Data tools (Storm, Spark/Scala, Hadoop, etc...) to process data to feed into a neural network to detect anomalies (e.g. cybersecurity and financial risk). They took a lot of notes from what I said, but I didn't learn much from them; they won't answer any of your probing questions and will dance around your questions, especially if you ask them about how they tune their neural networks.
