Entrevista
USAJOBS application, invited to a hiring fair type event at the Region VII headquarters. I did not know it would be like this and expected the standard 40 minute federal interview in and out.
Got there at 0830, interview scheduled for 910. Filled out paperwork, interviewed for 20 minutes then told to go wait. They had some delays between themselves and HQ and so I waited from 0930-1500, and finally got the email stating I was given a Tentative Offer. I accepted, stayed and did more onboarding paperwork. Got the Final offer within a week. Waiting on making that switch from current agency to the new one. All told, less than one full month between interview and start date.

Standard questions expected during a federal job interview. Some behavior, some why here/why us, and some scenario. I think I got lucky with the trio I interviewed with, they seemed to be more willing to open up and just talk. No one likes those standardized questions they have to ask.
Standard government questions. Have several stories that can be tailored to different "tell me about a time" questions. Have good clarifying questions to show you are familiar with the role. Interview process overall was smooth.
