I have applied for team leader position and they asking me to answer "system engineer assessment" for initial screen. how will you judge a TL position candidate by putting written test and they are simply saying it is checking the thought process. I think they do need how to troubleshooting experience.
Please change thought process for selecting senior people. Don't ask basic question and ask what they handle in previous and current experience. how they handled those cases and how much time they taken to solve. This will give you fair idea about the person. Don't judge the senior people by judging the written process.
Since It is MNC, so that I was attend the interview. But the way of selecting people is very old.
Consultancy also do know the process.
I have wasted half of the day. it is very disappointed.
