Entrevista
Long overdue review—I was approached by a recruiter about the opportunity, who was extremely pleasant and informative. From there, I interviewed with two DMs, both of which were positive experiences as well. At the end of my final interview I was informed that I would be hearing back from them by a certain date; this never happened. When I reached out to the DM to follow up myself, I received no response...none...crickets...
I suppose there’s a multitude of reasons why you can’t get back to a candidate when you tell them you will...you’re busy...you don’t want to have to be the bad guy by telling someone they didn’t get the job...the list could go on and on...but frankly, failing to get back to a candidate, especially at the Store Manager level and beyond, is just plain inconsiderate and unprofessional and does nothing for your company but send the message that you do not value your employees (and potential employees) on a human level.
