Entrevista
Having been employed as a Tutor for Explore Learning I was able to Fast Track my application and had a telephone interview and Assessment Day as opposed to that and a Centre Interview too. The process took a total of around 5 weeks and I was offered the role within 1 working day.
The online application process was fairly straightforward, in addition to uploading your CV you are asked to answer two questions in relation to the company and the AD role. My telephone interview was a week later and I was asked some questions in relation to the competencies required for the role - I was able to draw on past experience. The interviewer was lovely and made me feel at ease. I was told straight away I had been successful and was invited for an assessment day which took place around 3 weeks later in Guilford.
The assessment day with Explore is quite different to other assessment days - the Talent Team are super friendly and very supportive. This is something you will notice instantly if it is the first time you have come across the company and something other candidates on the day pointed out instantly! As a current employee, I am already aware of the culture and was certain I would have a fantastic day regardless of the outcome. The atmosphere was totally relaxed. In addition, It's important to note that with this assessment day you are not in competition with each other and this is something the interviewers will make you aware of - with 127 centres in the UK everyone is looking to start in different centres and they also have different start dates anyway.
The interviewers were so lovely and they really did make you feel at ease throughout the whole process. This meant that you were able to fully allow your personality to shine through without the nerves! They genuinely do want you to do well and were really supportive during each activity.
The day is broken down into several parts. It was well organised and everyone was given a schedule of what they would be doing and when. Explore provides light refreshments throughout the day and also lunch. We were able to go to Zizzi as a group and this allowed us to get to know everyone further!
In terms of advice, I would really have a good browse of the company website to get a feel for their visions and values. Make sure you fully prepare for the interviews by using the agendas sent via email and also be sure to take on any feedback received throughout the process. In addition, allow your personality and passion to shine through!
Very quick. 2 interviews: first one was telephone interview where they just asked you about your background and why you want to apply. the second one was a formal Teams one that also included a presentation task

Was a tutor previously so there is a scheme which allows the opportunity to interview internally for management positions- easy, friendly process with a great recruitment team. Easy to navigate- written application, then some video questions, some feedback from the team I used to work with and then a formal interview with recruitment and regional manager.
