HR Interview - General questions about locality, passion, experience, "why you're a good fit", Real world examples of projects that could prove beneficial and just overall not too extensive into detail.

HR call was nice and made me hopeful that the 2.9 (at the time of writing this review) rating evertz had was probably old but alas I was mistaken. I got passed through to an hour long technical interview with a VP (why is a VP doing entry level swe recruiting for a large company?). The interview was going well even though this VP was hard to understand but then he asks me about my experience and compares it to UofT and Waterloo grads and says they have 5-6 coops and 2 yoe experience out of university and my 3 coops and 1 yoe out of university is not enough. With 40 minutes still remaining he tells me "well I have to go I have another interview bye" I could've been spared this if this VP at least saw my resume and counted the YOE before just berating me and wasting my time. I also don't understand how this VP expects to get waterloo/uoft grads with a ton of experience at a low low nice 55k-65k I'd be surprised if they even stay past 6 months. Goodluck to whomever gets in.
