Reached out by a recruiter. You display interest in the position and they will set up a phone screening interview. Over the phone interview with Apex Systems' HR for a private company. The recruiter will let you know if you passed the phone screening interview and will process you for the position and assign you to a training class. There is about a class per month so you may need to wait up to a month or a few days.

Good and informative. They told me about what to expect and what the day to day is going to be. Seems simple for people to understand their operation. Very informative and very nice. I liked it.
It was a phone interview and they just ask general questions about your GIS background. Not very many behavioral questions, mostly they just want to see your process for mapping or researching.
