My interview process was a mess: There were exactly 9 steps to obtain an offer. Absolutely uncalled for excessiveness that led to confusion and frustrations (for me.) There were many times I considered removing myself from consideration. Below are the 9 separate steps starting after my application was submitted and selected: 1) Online Questionnaire in which I had 8-10 questions. I answered half with text and half I recorded a video response. 2) Typing Test 3) Personality Assessment 4) Video Conference Interview 5) 2nd Personality Assessment 6) In-Person Interview 7) In-Person Lunch Meeting with another team member in the organization 8) On 2 separate occasions the owner called me and asked me multiple interview questions 9) Background and Drug Test

This is a 2nd Glassdoor review this "anonymous (disgruntled) employee" left us out of spite and pettiness in order to personally attack our Owner. He was with us for only 3 short weeks before he was justifiably terminated. It would have been nice for everyone if he had expressed these "issues" during the hiring process or before accepting the position. It would have saved us all a lot of wasted time over the next 3 weeks. Read our entire reply under "Employee Reviews". Below was our reply related to his issues with our interview process: 5). HIRING PROCESS: Our interview process is as involved as it needs to be based on the position and applicant. He was hired for an important managerial role, which may involve some extra due-diligence. Specifically, his application was active for around 2 months partially because we weren’t in a hurry (which we disclosed to him) and partially because we weren’t certain if he was a great fit. He had plenty of time to remove himself from consideration, but never mentioned any concerns during the hiring/onboarding process. It may be telling that when he was removed (terminated), the first question out of his mouth was “are you going to fight unemployment?”, which was very odd, and a first for us. Ultimately, our business and our company isn’t for everyone, and that’s ok! Since we want to be the best in our industry, we only want All-Stars on our team. However, finding competent people isn’t enough. There has to be competency AND a cultural fit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case with this “anonymous” person. We wish him well.
