Did not actually interview just spoke with the recruiter/hr for the company. Asked normal question about the data center, what is your experience thought I did good since I have 5 plus experience in the field total of 8 years of It experience and currently work at a data center. Got back to me a week later and told me that they want other candidates with dell certification not on the job requirement and apparently wanted people that worked a their data center which does not make sense its data centers they dont change too much.. I forgot I have a Dell emc cert have and advised him of this for future openings. Fast forward 2 months after this hiring again and now can't even get a respond back Think is poorly done with their interview process have me interview with one of engineers or managers of that data center. Interview with many companies.

Disingenuous at best, Bait & Switch at worst. Was supposed to be a 45min initial call. They mentioned in the first 10 min the capped salary being over 30k lower than the posted range (on their site, GlassDoor, etc listings). Some nonsense of base pay vs total comp, even though all their listing stated base pay. Why waste mine and their own time?
