There were two initial interviews with Human Resources followed by a case which was a simulation of the type of work I would have in the organization and I had five days to work on it. After they reviewed the case, I had another interview with a senior team member.

I got a call from the recruiter as well as hiring manager. After a brief explanation of the project they are working on, I was asked to do a take-home assignment. Just as other comments, the take-home seems more like them phishing for ideas rather than testing specific skills because the scope was undefined and the recruiter was unclear on what to expect.... And they didn't reply after a LONG time even though they asked me to finish within a few days.... and then rejected me for no specific or some stupid reasons

A lot of questions to assure you that "they are serious about hiring people"

Everyone that posted for the consultant role is accurate. There's a phone call with the recruiter. Then you speak with the managing partner. Followed with a take-home exam, which you present in person for the final round. There, you have three sets of interviews with six people. It wasn't hard and they all seem like genuine people.
My favorite highlights were speaking with Desmond and Justin, who I connected with after the interviews the next day.
I would have accepted the role but the general operations of the team seemed dysfunctional which is normal for any startup.
