This was a tough interview process. I went through a phone screen, a first-round 1:1, and a panel interview. However, the recruiter didn’t inform me in advance that the panel interview would last over four hours, which I had to schedule on relatively short notice, requiring me to take most of the day off for a junior-level role. Perhaps this was due to my lack of prior experience in life sciences, but for an Operations role, the process felt excessive. Ultimately, I was told they decided to pursue candidates who better matched their requirements. While I appreciate the timely communication, be prepared for an intense interview process and the possibility of being cut at any stage.
