The interview process was considerably long for internship.It was like the process for a full time interview.First interview was with HR discussing about compatibility for the position,job profile,salary range,etc which lasted about 15-20 minutes.
Second interview was with the QA Director in which technical questions related to testing methodologies,Database concepts of join,DDL,DML,etc and some basic java concepts and some general questions related to hobbies were asked.
After couple of days , I got an email from HR that I have cleared the technical interview and there will be another phone interview with a senior QA Engineer. After clearing that interview they said they would like to invite me for the onsite interview.
In the onsite interview there were 4 rounds of interviews taken by senior QA Engineers followed by final round with the QA Director.
It took a total of 3.5-4 hours and questions were related to my testing experience,some logical questions in Maths,file permissions commands in Unix/Linux,remote file transfer concept,Database concepts and some questions related to real world scenario.
It went well in deed and they ended up with giving me an offer.
Overall It was a very nice experience for the entire process.The HR was regularly in touch,and for onsite interview the accommodation was really nice and decent in a nearby hotel and after completing the onsite interview I had lunch with the QA Director.
