I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview within a couple weeks of applying. The recruiter mistakenly called me a half hour before the interview. It happens, she thought it was earlier. I immediately contacted her asking if she was still available at the correct time. She contacted me a half hour saying she made a mistake and rescheduled. She missed the second reschedule only to email me an hour after the agreed upon time. Finally we connected only for a generic, lets go through your resume line by line interview. She asked very basic questions, provided no insight into the position and never asked if I had questions. As somebody in HR, I expected a little more from a leadership recruitment experience. I wasn't too upset when they went with another candidate. This was not a great experience.

Entrevista
Applied online. They rushed into a short panel interview to follow with hardly any notice. The panel didn't seem to be prepared. That concluded the interview process. Interviewed there before and feel that Encompass doesn't understand how the HR professionals should support or the tasks they are to be responsible for.

At the last minute, they requested to attend a 5 person interview panel interview. They were hesitant to answer questions regarding the high turn over rate of the HR departments in St. Louis, MO. That was a red flag. Also they kept changing the title and locations on the requisitions another red flag. I was sent a reference request to have completed and received a decline notification even though the references had not been checked. Poor candidate experience.

Entrevista
first was an initial phone screen with a recruiter, if you pass phone screen you advance to recorded answers to job specific questions. Then there is a review of submissions in order to advance. After submitting the recorded questions I was told I would hear back, but never did. Lots of turnover described, maybe respecting applicants time and letting them know they are not being considered is a good indicator of why there is turnover.

Entrevista
Phone screen with recruiter, first in-person interview with location CEO and regional VP of HR, second in-person interview with location CEO and the rest of the director/leadership team. First interview was more formal, second interview was much more laid back and just a chance for the directors/leadership team to ask me questions and know more about me. The process was extremely quick. Recruiter reached out to me within one day or so of applying. Immediately set up the first interview (on a Friday) and reached out to me by Monday to set up the second interview. Was offered verbally during the second interview and got the formal offer shortly after the interview.
