Recruiter reached out to me after application, she scheduled a 20-min phone interview -- that was a small red flag. I get on the call, the recruiter was 5 minutes late and barely interacted with me. Ran down the company and position by throwing 8 different acronyms out. Said the position was net new, I asked who's already in Boston, she said well we don't have a Boston office yet but we're always hiring. What? It was labeled an in-person role. Seems like recruiters were tasked with agency-like KPIs. Poor experience, product seems exciting.

Started positively. Screening call with HR was conversational and informative. Next a discussion with a current team member was also engaging and left me optimistic about the role.
Third stage involved a take home assessment with two parts: drafting a mock customer email to de-escalate a situation and building a web app using a random 3rd party platform. Granted access to current employees for review. I completed assignment as requested, sent an email to confirm it was received (no response). No no one ever accessed the application I created, as I could see that none of the invitations had been accepted.
Rejected without any feedback, explanation, or follow up regarding the assessment that took hours to complete. Experience felt dismissive and poorly managed. Candidates invest significant time and effort into these exercises, and a more thoughtful review process and communication would have been appreciated.

I originally was interviewing for the Engagement Manager role, and the team thought I was a better fit for CSM. Salary range wasn't to my expectations, but the team assured that I could be placed in a senior role if I moved forward.
Had one interview which went well, and was assigned the take home assignment. The assignment took around 4-5 hours for someone who wasn't as technical, and I immediately got rejected with no feedback.
