started off great, HR phone interview with a really sweet lady. then came time for the second interview....so weird. I am clearly applying for a specific role (HEALTHCARE) and they had me conduct a task assignment. okay cool. the task assignment was literally writing emails back and forth pretending you're a leasing manager for an apartment complex with the "interviewer" (who btw did not even talk really just read off a google doc about the task at hand and wanted to watch my screen as i did it). not hard, literally does not say an absolute thing about a candidate other than the fact that they are able to write a fake sweet email???? anyways, just received a rejection email with no reason as to why after this "task" interview. so now i get to spill the beans. so strange, probably reflective of the company itself then.
