My interview experience with ElevenLabs was quite poor. The interviewer seemed inexperienced and came across as overly confident without backing it up. There was little to no structured questioning, and the discussion felt unproductive. It was also concerning to see a clear mismatch in expertise — for example, a frontend engineer interviewing for a senior backend role. This made it difficult to have a relevant or meaningful technical evaluation. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not well thought through. The quality of interviewing did not match the level expected for senior candidates. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about engaging in this interview process.

Recruiter screen with Ben, very friendly and transparent about the process and expectations, great chat! 2. Technical coding interview, live coding LeetCode-style problem Overall a great experience, even though I didn't pass. Both people I spoke with were genuinely nice and made the interviews feel collaborative rather than intimidating. The technical interviewer was supportive and let me think through the problem without adding unnecessary pressure. The coding problem was challenging but fair, a medium algorithmic question with a practical twist. They're looking for strong problem-solving AND the ability to translate that into clean, working code quickly.
