Maybe the worst interview I've ever had. The HR person called me almost 10 minutes late, didn't apologize or even acknowledge that he was so late, and was clearly calling from the car. He could not follow the conversation from one sentence to the next. He couldn't answer any of my basic questions about the position like travel requirements (and would use the excuse that he has 50 other job postings he's working right now) and kept getting me confused with other applicants. He said the job was fully remote, then later said I would need to drive to a city several hours away from me 2-3 times a week. When I mentioned the inconsistency, he said he might be getting the positions confused and again said he has 50 other positions. He said they are changing which positions are remote on a daily basis and that it could change at any time and I could need to be in the office 5 days a week... an office well out of driving distance from me and not even mentioned in the job posting (that specifically said 100% remote). The TOP of the salary range he gave me was $50k below standard for the position I had applied for and tried to say that it was because of my location. When I said that was the standard for my location, he asked me for the 4th time where I was located.
