After applying I was contacted by a talent manager acquisition person and scheduled a phone interview. After passing the first interview they schedule a in person interview with a current financial advisor.
The in person interview is pretty standard STAR format. Be sure to wear a full suit and tie or it is an automatic no. The interview is pretty easy and the advisor told me he was going to pass me at the end. Make sure you have some good questions to ask at the end.
This is followed by another phone interview with a talent acquisition manager. Again in the STAR format and pretty easy as well. If you pass this it is on to a day in the life test.
The day in the life is a simulated test were you make calls and answer emails. Chose the prospect over anything else. Stay calm and stay busy.

Interview process first consists of numerous dinner events, all very laid back where you get to learn more about the company and the advisors in the region, and they get to learn more about you. If you keep getting invited back to dinners, consider it progress in the interview process. Honestly, the best, most effective interview process.

it's a series of interviews with people in the office then a full-day of simulating the role of the advisor where you're receiving calls from clients and team mates as well as receiving emails. As a career-changer, this was the part of the interview phase where I realized Edward Jones wasn't the right start to my career as a financial advisor and ended up going somewhere that invested in my growth rather than a "sink or swim" type of place.
