An Odd one indeed, was interviewed by employees that were just months on the job- and they were making a decision on a new manager. Finally, a month later met a top manager and this person tried to get me to say I could make miracles happen that simply are impossible with this market. A very antiquated mentality and a lack of adjusting to changing times is the vibe I got. Sad. Also, you may get seriously ghosted after they have noted down all your ideas and accomplishments and eliminated you. They just won't bother to update you- and I am actually seeing a pattern in this with companies. It is very unprofessional and distasteful.
