First off, thank you for your interest in ERGO and the time you spent interviewing with us. We’re sorry that we were not able to extend an offer to you. There are many great candidates, and sometimes it’s hard to choose.
The Personality Surveys you mentioned is a two-part Assessment (a DISC Assessment and a Workplace Strengths Assessment) that we use to help us get a better sense of a candidate’s personality. It typically takes between eight and ten mins to complete and has proven to be a great part of the process.
The questions are not directly related to the job, but they do help us get a better sense of whether or not a candidate will be a good fit for the company and the specific role. For instance, someone who dislikes collaborating with others is probably not ideal for our team culture. Another example might be someone interviewing for a role in accounting who dislikes fussing over details might also not be a good fit. The assessment provides a helpful starting point for a discussion to get to know the candidate.
