I was contacted by their recruiter through an online career site. The recruiter asked some preliminary questions about my interest in the position, described the position, and asked about my experience. I had a first interview over the phone with the Marketing Director and was given projects to show my capabilities. Had a second interview with the Marketing Director and CEO to present my completed tasks and further discuss my experience as well as receiving more insight into the position.

I had four different phone calls with four people at the company, only to be ghosted. I spoke to the recruiter, hiring manager, and two other leaders in the company. I followed up with the original recruiter and never received a response.

The entire interviewing and hiring process was very organized and smooth! The recruiter was very pleasant, helpful and always available to answer any questions I had along the way. One of the biggest things I look for in a company is their personality and the interview is the first indicator of that. My in-person interview felt more like a conversation rather than an interrogation, which definitely played a part in my decision to ultimately accept the position. I had never felt so comfortable during an interview, which says a lot about the values of that particular department. It was a refreshing, interesting and 2-way conversation - a sign that gave me confidence in the type of people at Ellison. I'm grateful to work with an awesome team...great department dynamic!
