Entrevista
My experience with the interview process at EDF Renewables was initially straightforward. It commenced with a video interview conducted by the direct hiring manager, followed by another video interview with both the hiring manager and their superior. Subsequently, I participated in a one-hour panel interview involving five individuals. This was succeeded by a final interview with the HR department.
Approximately a week later, I was informed that I had not secured the position. However, shortly thereafter, I received a call from HR stating that their initial candidate had fallen through, and I was extended the offer contingent upon providing five references, two of which were former supervisors. After submitting the references, I was informed a few days later that the position was being placed on hold, and I would no longer be considered.
While the interactions with everyone involved were friendly and professional, the process left me with a bitter taste. Being rejected twice for the same position felt unprofessional. Consequently, I’ve decided not to pursue any other opportunities within the company. Although the individuals I encountered were courteous, there seemed to be a lack of foresight and perhaps a need for more compassion throughout the process.

Interviewer was very friendly. Overall it was a pretty basic screening interview. It did include a brief test to assess attention to detail and a few common interview questions. The next steps for candidates moving forward was clearly communicated.
