I had a really interesting interview process. First interview started off with a math (hand-written) and typing (computer-based) test. For the first interview, I met with the Director of Marketing and Digital Designer. I thought it went well, we spoke about the role, the marketing team and overall work environment. I was invited back for a second interview, to meet with the VP of Marketing. The VP of Marketing was very welcoming, we spoke about the role, project tasks, what i want to learn while in the role and where I see myself in the next few years. I thought both interviews went well and I was to expect word back from them after New Years. I waited all week for an interview all to get an automated cookie cutter email stating that they were focusing on candidates that best fit their job need. I was so confused because I had left the conversation open to any feedback or questions they had about my resume and overall work. It seemed like i had good odds at working with the team, but I guess it didn't turn out that way. I wish I was provided feedback to my interview style, resume, or portfolio.
