      Entrevista

      Applied to this position through a recruiter and was rejected without an explanation. Ended up meeting the hiring manager at the RSA Conference a couple of months later where he asked me to send him my LI profile and resume and we would schedule a date to discuss. Sent him what he asked for and he writes back saying that he wanted someone with more experience and was rejected again. Oddly enough a couple of months later one of their recruiters contacts me saying they were both looking at LI profiles and the VP wanted to speak with me. Spoke with the recruiter first -- very friendly and professional and provided the requirements - they seemed a bit excessive for the role, but I had them so she said she would provide the info back to the VP again. The next day the recruiter told me that the VP was told he needed to consider people from certain companies and pass on the rest. Given my history with this role, I asked the recruiter to provide him some additional information about my background. She promised that she would do that. A couple days later she said that he understood that I was in a similar space, but there was nothing he could do so he had to pass yet again. Very strange place - not sure what to make of them.
