      Entrevista

This interview was the easiest I have done for a CS job. There were no programming questions at all, which was actually a disappointment since I spent a good 10 hours across two days before the interview brushing up on vocabulary, acronyms, and libraries. The interview was mostly about how I handled some situations, what my interests were, what my long term plan for work was, and to see how polite and well spoken I was. It was more about how I acted and who I was than what I knew. The interview started with two people talking about my background and the company, which later turned into a nice fancy lunch (they paid for it) with the two interviewers and a manager. I ended up answering a number of questions again for the manager over lunch, but a good amount of it seemed to be them observing how polite I was and how conscious I was about how I ate. I'm a very polite person and since the restaurant was very classy I asked them some questions about proper etiquette in some situations, which seemed to earn me a huge amount of points as I was actively learning and adjusting what I did. They were very interested in my background in game development, but seemed to be more worried I would leave the company to pursue a career in it. After I explained it was simply a hobby and I had 0 interest in working in that field they began asking how it might help the company to have someone with the skills. I gave some pretty valid explanations on the subject and that also seemed to give some more points. There was a small phone screen before this interview, but it was only about 15 minutes and your standard "what degree and experience do you have". It seemed more of a way to weed out someone who may have applied to the wrong position by accident. I feel the interview was TOO easy for the pay they offered, but I feel like they gave me the job because I have a very long resume of open source code contributions so I think they choose candidates that don't need to answer tech questions since they have viewable code.

The interview was not bad at all. Majority was behavioral questions and basically was with multiple managers. First round was with two managers and then all the interviewed students would socialize with all the managers during lunch in another.

Non-technical interview, but they appear to have a good grasp of what you already know. They ask you to explain any technical work you've already done. They pretty much will let you lay out all your cards on the table or dig your own grave. It is a group interview and there was around 11 people when I went. Around 5 people interview at a time (individually) and they switch to the next 5.

      Entrevista

I applied for the job in early December and got an email asking for an interview a couple weeks later for mid January. The interview went extremely well. It started out in a group setting where we just talked with each other. After that, they split off the group into 1-on-1 interviews, while the rest would tour the building with those waiting for or were done with their interviews. We also had the opportunity to talk with current IT Associates to interact with them and ask questions about their position. The actual interview was with 2 managers. It was extremely laid back and comfortable. They asked the standard interview questions relating to things like history of experience and team skills. I can’t remember many of the questions, but I’ll put the one I had trouble with in the Questions section. Overall, there were no technical questions unless I brought up something technical from my resume. The biggest tip I have is to maximize your experience that relates to the various rotations while being eager to learn about the areas you’re not experienced in. They told us a response would be given within 2 weeks, whether it be an offer or rejection. I received a phone call from the HR representatives a week and a half after the interview, where he offered me the position and outlined the benefits and things of that nature. I received information about the specific rotation a week later. Overall, the interview was a pleasant experience. Just come to the interview and enjoy the conversations, and things should go well.
