Only made it to the first part of the process which was "Value alignment interview with Gonçalo Silva, our CTO & interim Head of Backend." This wasn't just a value alignment interview and was actually just a standard technical interview where I was asked 2 straightforward technical questions and then a few questions about my experience. It seems odd to frame it as a value alignment interview when half of it is focused on technical questions. The two technical questions where very open ended and the interviewer gave very little feedback throughout. The experience questions were standard "tell me about a time when..." prompts but the interviewer did not ask any follow up questions which left me unsure of what he wanted out of my answers. There was plenty of time to ask questions at the end of the interview which was nice.
