      Entrevista

      Did a 30 minute zoom interview with the Director of Engagement that covered more about the position and the company. Mostly basic screening questions, but interviewer was very easy to talk to and seemed very authentic. A second virtual interview with the head of the department and another Director was scheduled within a week. 2nd interview was more detailed questions about experience and approach to different aspects of the job. Despite some technical difficulties the interview went well. The head of department actually asked if everyone could go over the hour scheduled since we were in the middle of healthy conversation. Everything about the process was enjoyable through that point. After that there was zero follow up and even after reaching back out to the recruiter there was no response. It’s been over a month and I’ve still never been formally rejected. I was told in the interview process that the company knew it had some growing to do around process and structures to ensure a better employee experience, but ghosting a candidate that’s invested that much time in the process is pretty terrible even for a growing company. Whether you ultimately want a candidate for a specific position, the communication around job selection makes a lasting impression on prospective employees. And when that impression is bad, it really impacts a company’s brand and ability to attract great talent down the road.
