Walked into store with resume looking for job. Had an asst store mgr position and area mgr opening. Store mgr off asked to give him resume. Next day received a Phone call to talk to store manager and make appt for interview. Talked about experience. Discussed job openings. Called next day. Offered job. All jobs for area managers need to be approved by district manager.

Very unorganized, no one knew what the other managers were doing. Norma the shoe manger was a nasty person and doesn’t like caucasians. Very back stabbing & they treat sales associates like trash.
I was heavily recruited. It was a smooth process. It consisted of 2 interviews. It was consistent with other retailers. The questions were answered and it was inviting . That’s all I have to say about my experience at Dillards
