The interview process was very average and casual. All the people were friendly and showed good characteristics. However, their words did not align with their actions, as it quickly turned a comment like "You are our top candidate" in the final interview into a devastating "We decided to go with another candidate." When speaking to them in the interview, it seemed like they were excited to talk to me, and seemed like all the answers I gave to their questions outperformed what they initially thought. By the end of the final interview, it seemed like they really liked me and wanted me to be a part of their group and giving me complementary comments and positive feedback on all the assignments that they saw from me. Their words did not align with the actions they gave to me, and resulted in distrust of their work. It proved to me that it was not a fitting company to work with, even if I had them on top of mind and was wishing to work with them. That quickly proved me wrong.
