The actual interview and position was for Grand Circus, who had recently been acquired by Dexian. The Grand Circus interview itself was very pleasant and though I did not move forward, I gained a lot from the conversation. The Dexian recruiting process left much to be desired - I was passed off to a secondary recruiter once the one who found me on LinkedIn went on vacation, then there was no follow up (for almost two weeks) and I was told (once I finally did receive a call, after emailing her), that 'she thought someone else had already called me.' So, not the most professional or considerate way to let a candidate know they aren't moving forward for a position.
