      Entrevista

      2 stages. 1st interview was quite relaxed. More of a fact finding exercise for both parties. 2nd interview was focussed more around my performance in previous companies. They just want to know facts. No stupid questions.. and any decent recruiter would find this quite a comfortable interview.. really enjoyed meeting with the 2 directors and one of the heads of divisions..

      Entrevista

      3 stages, 2 fairly informal, 1 formal with CEO and colleague. Used aggressive "grilling" tactic - think the apprentice interviews! bit of overkill for a mid-level role. CEO rather arrogant and got quite personal at times which completely put me off the business at the final stage. Never had any feedback from the company following final interview, which didn't bother me as much as if I had wanted to work there, but as a recruitment consultancy, they should practice what they preach. Very bad impression and wouldn't recommend

      Thank you for your interview feedback. We remember this interview well, as it was recent. You haven't received feedback as you were asked to go away, reflect on the interview and then come back to us with your thoughts. We didn't hear from you again. We're surprised about the "apprentice style" comment as the interview turned into more of a coaching session based on the differences between your sector compared to ours. The reference to "doormat" is misleading, you shared with us that your current employer had withheld commission due to you because of an issue with their personal tax and you had chosen to walk away from the situation and not challenge what you were legitimately owed. We offered you advice, which was well received, about your rights in respect of claiming the money you were owed. I believe we said "don't let your current employer treat you like a doormat" as we really felt for you having to cancel a holiday abroad that you had booked due to your current employer withholding your commission. We felt that a 3 stage interview was appropriate, given your change of sector and limited time in recruitment. We hope you appreciate a thorough interview process is as much for your benefit as ours, as well as reassuring you that we take the time to ensure we hire the right people. We wish you well in your future career.
