Entrevista
Delta Connection Academy/AeroSim has their potentional employees jump through an incredible amount of hoops just to be considered. Their HR deparment is severely understaffed and takes quite a while just to get a phone interview scheduled. Once you pass that they arrange for an in-person interview. If you pass that then you go into a 2 week standardization class, that included multiple test, a final test, a flight review, and finally a standardization flight. It's very important to note that if you fail ANY portion; the test, the final, the flight review, or the standardization flight, they WILL let you go.
The whole process from initial contact to employment is about 2-3 months if you pass everything, which is huge risk since you must dedicate your full time to the standardization class and can be let go at any time.
I'd tell any prospective CFI to take a pass here. There are so many other great schools in Florida that will take you immediately.

The first thing they do is a phone interview. This consists of mostly human resource questions about your background and experience. When you arrive for your interview, you will take a written test with questions from the FOI and CFI written exams. Then you will be evaluated in their Level 6 FTD. They are not looking at your flying skills in this evaluation. They want to see your teaching ability. Then there is a panel interview with 2 or 3 people. They ask you some technical questions if you don't do well on the written exam. There are also some HR questions.
