Had a phone round with the hiring manager and then onsite. The phone screen was going over my background and asked a few core Java questions. It took them about 3 weeks to get back to me after the phone screen The onsite interview was 4 rounds 30-45 mins each. Couple of whiteboard coding and design questions. The people seemed friendly and passonate about their work. Got the offer the next day.

Approached by one of the HR personal from Dell Malaysia to recruit for Staff Engineer position for Cyber Security Team in Singapore. It has been long interview process including 4 rounds- 3 technical rounds followed by 1 HR round First round by panel of 2 staff engineers from Singapore , assessing the current work experience and solving an algorithm Second round by panel of 2 staff engineers, including one guy from Israel and another from Singapore The interview includes solving the two system design problems in 2hrs of duration Third round HR, asking about Expectations and explaining benefits etc Fourth round by Hiring Manager and Staff Engineer from Singapore. it was Behavioral interview. There was a gap more than a week between each interview. After 4 rounds of interview, I have not heard back any feedback from HR for 2 weeks. When i follow up, Finally HR called me from Singapore and told that they are unable to hire for Staff Engineer position and want to offer lower level with less salary, with less benefits than my current position, which I am not interested all all Overall i felt that , it has been hectic interview. I put lot of time and energy for interview preparation for last 2 months I suggest my fellow friends not to waste their valuable time attending these hectic interview by Dell and finally not getting hired.
