The hiring and interview process with this company leaves little to be desired. The hiring process was biased from the start and their were not any chances to get the higher paid positions. For that matter, the really good paying positions were done in a secretive fashion and never posted for public participation. The HR manager recruited his favorites for management and production positions from a prior company in the same area that closed its doors about a year ago, humm? Since Del Conca is set only to hire about 100 employees, this little scheme worked perfectly with the HR managers agenda. In other words, all other applicants were simply going through the motions of the application/interviewing process just to fill some State legal requirement and didn't have a snowballs chance period. A whole lot of people wasted their time in the application process with this company, while Del Conca knew all along they would never be hired. So, from a business sense they can do just about anything they want, but from an ethical sense,Del Conca has been dishonest with many, many applicants who thought that they were really being considered for possible employment.
