I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5+ Weeks.
Completed 4 Interviews due to the fact that one of the technical interviewers suggested that my experience and knowledge would fit better on the data side of the organization.
Got great feedback from the Interviewers and recruiter. Recruiter contacted via email stating that they wanted to move forward to the hiring process. we discussed salary and possible start dates.
Recruiter stated that they wanted me to join the organization but my possible start date would be almost a month and half later. I agreed and she said that we could retake the rehiring process once we get closer to the possible start date.
I contacted the recruiter two weeks before start date and she replied that they were shortly going to start the hiring process.
start date came around and no word from recruiter or the organization. Contacted the recruiter again and she explained that her team had overabundance of SEs on the bench(Staff augmentation is exactly what they do) as they call it and they were waiting to move people out of the area to start the hiring process. she would be reaching out in a week.
There was not reaching out. This organization ghosted me out and did not even had the decency to send an email message regarding the halting of the process.
I wasted two months going through all this process.

Three rounds of remote interviews. One with a very polite recruiter, and 2 with more technical skills. I think they just need to do a better job of managing expectations through the process.

I believe they wanted me to be more of a Mobile Developer and I was leaning more towards AWS things. Just really felt like got strung along to the very end when I expected to hear the final salary offer, they said they had no work for me.
