I was genuinely excited about the opportunity to join Datadog. The initial interview process was smooth, and the team members I spoke with were insightful and welcoming. It gave me a strong impression of a fast-growing company with a collaborative culture. Unfortunately, after one of the interviews was postponed, I did not hear back from the team after my follow-up. I understand hiring priorities can shift quickly, but a simple follow-up or closure note would have gone a long way in maintaining a positive candidate experience.
