Round one was a phone screening followed a week later by a 30 minute interview with the VP. A week later the next round was scheduled with four different department heads, 30 minutes each. A week after that I was told a decision would be made the following week, and that's where things broke down. I was given vague responses every 7-10 days and 6 weeks after the second round they still had not made a decision due to "schedule conflicts" and "candidates still interviewing". My file was accidentally closed and I wrote them off, only to be contacted a week later admitting the mistake and asking if I was still interested. This was now 8 weeks after the second round. A case study was scheduled for the following week but that is where I pulled my name from consideration. There was no transparency as to why things were taking so long and this was pushing 10 weeks from the second round, almost 12 weeks total. I also saw them repost the job when I had my case study scheduled. If I wasn't the right candidate they should have simply told me or admitted to hiring freezes or being indecisive.
