Initially, the process was smooth sailing. I had a call with a recruiter, a meeting with the hiring manager, and an assignment I was tasked with to complete. More than a week passed after I submitted the assignment with no response from the recruiter even though I was told I would hear back in a day. So I reached out to see if there was any update and three days later still no response. Finally, I received an email from the recruiting team, not from the recruiter themselves that I would not be able to move forward in the process.
