Entrevista
A Databricks recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me to interview for the role. The recruiter said the role would focus on creating custom analytics solutions with Python and SQL, which seemed like a good fit for my background.
The next step was an hour long screen with the hiring manager. They rattled off a couple questions about Spark and a few networking tools I hadn't heard of, none of which was mentioned in the job description or discussed in the recruiter screen. The hiring manager was fairly rude and abruptly ended the interview after 15 minutes. A few days later, I got an email from the recruiter stating that they wouldn't move forward because "[insert brief reason]". Apparently their recruiting team can't even fill out their own email template.
Overall this was one of the least professional interviewing experiences I have had.

I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter for an initial call. My background and experience were not aligned with the role, so we did not proceed to the next round.
Unfortunately, the interview experience was not very positive. The recruiter was late to the scheduled call, and the communication style felt somewhat one-sided and pushy rather than collaborative. I would have appreciated a more balanced and respectful conversation.
Multiple rounds of interview , take home assessment was not very tough . But panel presentation round was tough , it seems they want candidate who can wow them even though all rounds went fine .
I go the first phone call which went pretty well. Then I passed a first panel round on simple architecture. Did first round technical round, but never heard back again.
