The process took six weeks between application submission and offer. As an internal transfer, the phone screen was bypassed, and the hiring manager reached out directly to me to schedule an interview with her, then a seperate interview with the PIs. Afterward, the hiring manager completed an internal reference check with my current manager. The offer was extended the next day.
