I had 3 rounds of interviews ( 1 hiring manager, 3-4 cross-functionals, & 1 presentation to 4-5 people). The recruiter called me a few days after my last interview and told me that I outperformed people with 2-3 years of experience more than me, but they ultimately chose someone who's experience more closely matched the role (totally valid). Recruiter then told me the team really liked me and want me to interview with a hiring manager on another team and then maybe meet 1-2 more people if the hiring manager wants me to. I met with the hiring manager, it went well, HM liked me, and the recruiter told me she wanted me to meet with 1-2 more people. I met with those 2 people. On Sept 18, recruiter emailed me saying feedback is positive and I'll get back to you with a final decision on Sept 23. Sept 23 rolled around and nothing. I've followed up 3 times and have been completely ghosted (received no response). I even CC'd recruiting coordinators, so multiple people had the opportunity to respond or provide me some update. It is now Oct 22 lol. Even if I have been rejected, the very least they could do is tell me, especially after having spent 2+ months interviewing. Extremely unprofessional and completely devoid of empathy. Unfortunate because I was excited about the position/opportunity.

I did 3 interviews with different members of the team. It was a great experience overall. Very streamlined and no jumping through hoops. At the end of the process, I heard back in a few days with whether or not I got the job.
