I responded to a newspaper ad by fax, and they got back to me very quickly. The first interview was this the HR Director and the second with the Finance Director, and the last with the Managing Director.There was no nonsense about being sent for exams and skills evaluations, they understood that being a CPA proved that I had the skills, and references to recommenders took care of the rest.

Face-to-face with HR, then hiring manager and HR manager at the same time, all within one day.
Standard questions regarding past work experience. hiring manager and HR manager were very candid about the high intensity and pressure environment, and the hiring manager seemed very open and honest about them also being new in the position and is very willing to learn and grow together with this role.
I declined the offer due to the package not meeting my expectation, to which they tried to persuade me by pointing out I shouldn't have such high expectations because I don't have children or mortgage - highly inappropriate, so I politely declined the offer again.
