Long interview process. Although the company seemed welcoming at first, The zoom interview with the managers was quite alarming. They explained how hard the role was, how bad they are short staffed and how much they plan to work you to the ground. The continued to insist on how hard the role was (which wasn’t an issue as I have experience in this role). I informed them I was attempting to move to TN from VA. They offered me to watch a process and have an interview with the director the next day. I drove 11 hrs and paid for 3 nights of stay at a hotel. The process was expected, the director canceled on me last min and wasted my time and money. I scheduled a zoom interview with the director the following week where she as well bashed the role - stating how hard they will work their employees to the ground. I asked myself if they were trying to hire people or deter them from working here ?
Since compensation was not listed , I asked and was informed the extremely low salary offered to their employees that they plan to “ work to death” the director was rude and asked many questions about conflict resolution and how I would feel if I was treated like I was “below” another employee . Very alarming questions. I did not receive any reimbursement for my travel and lodging. And they do not offer relocation packages.
