Interview process was very straight forward. I aced the phone screen and felt aligned to the role but unfortunately I wasn't quite what they were looking for. I wish they gave more constructive feedback
Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Curology (Los Angeles, CA) en abr 2022
Entrevista
HR screening phone call scheduled via calendar invitation accepted, but the HR person stood me up. I sent SEVERAL messages to the HR person to follow up and reschedule and none of my messages were even acknowledged or responded to. Just ghosted me.
Standard process of zoom call with recruiter > on-site interview > presentation.
The zoom screen process was awkward, as the recruiter have scheduled a Zoom video call, yet she didn't turn on her camera the whole time. So I was the only one with video on.
Overall process seemed unorganized and unprofessional. While the recruiter was the one reaching out, her rejection email was a generic one sent by the system about 2 weeks later (despite saying that I would hear back in a week, and after silence from my following up/thank you email). The valley is a small place and I wouldn't have done this to a candidate who have prepared for the phone screen, followed up with you personally, or interviewed in person.
The evaluation process was also questionable. The recruiter was asking general questions about the role, yet she seemed very uninterested to the examples I was saying. Despite siting clear relevant examples of how I could help, it seemed that she was looking for reasons to reject, instead of trying to identify positive qualities that would've made the candidate successful. As someone who has interviewed many people before, this may not the way to hire top candidates, especially not in the first short call. Ultimately, don’t think they get the best candidates with this process of screening.
