Standard telephone HR interview followed by interview from a technical hiring manager. Hiring manager happened to be a very senior technical person who had good knowledge and experience in the industry and technology. Most of the technical interview was spent in describing the job and expectations. There were very brief questions like what is your research methodology like. Walk me through your resume etc and what is the first law of thermodynamics.

If I care about a specific temperature going from say 1000 F to 1020 F but do not trust my measurement device to be accurate enough, how will I evaluate if the temperature change is real or not?
