Entrevista
I applied online, then scheduled a brief phone screen with the CTO within a week. Then followed by a face to face with the CTO, then a take home coding assignment.

Mix of conversational and tech oriented questions.

I believe the process was a phone call, an in-person assessment, a take-home assignment to build a single-page web application, and finally a review of the assignment. I would say the actual interview process was fine, but unfortunately there was a three week period between my final interview and formally receiving an offer. Unfortunately, that soured the experience and likely played a role in my decision to go with another company.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the specific question, but I remember it being fair and reasonable

Phone screen with the CTO then onsite with the CTO and another engineer.
The main issue is the CTO's interview style wasn't friendly and always felt confrontational. During the phone screening it was a barrage of questions including: "who invented linux", "what is a python tuple." Some questions were related but most didn't have much to do with the last. After I was able to ask a few questions about the company.
The in person was with another engineer and the CTO. Once the CTO came in the interview went from conversational to rapid fire questioning again.
After implementing Fizzbuzz the first time the question was modified by the CTO asking very vague questions. "How can we do this differently," "Is there another way to do this." I felt like I just had to make changes until it was written in the style he saw fit. After he asked how I would implement modulo. I asked if he had any constraints and he said "no, it doesn't have to be the most efficient solution." After giving my solution he asked for a more efficient solution....
I was rejected on the spot right after in front of the other engineer and was walked out. After 2 interviews I still have no idea what the company does or what they do engineering wise.
Be prepared for a constant barrage of questions from the CTO.
Apologies for the delayed response to the feedback you provided. We’re disappointed you had a negative experience interviewing with us, we recently rolled out interview training for our team and believe that will address some of the concerns you have voiced.
