I've never before encountered an interview with such an incompentent employee in my life. I do not believe the person who interviewed me was the person initially scheduled for the interview (at least I hope not). The interviewer obviously did not spend 10 seconds scanning my resume, or was entirely unaware of the industry they were discussing.
When I asked about the company, the answers were incredibly vague and just did not make sense given the nature of this startup. When asked about the role, the interviewer was again providing vague non-answers and details that may have been for an entirely different role. I was left with more questions than before.
To summarize, I *hope* the typical interview process isn't this terrible. Honestly, the original interviewer should have rescheuled because I have no faith in the competence of this organziation after speaking with the person who interviewed me. I'm still amazed.

Awkward interview process that began with them wanting to schedule a time to talk and ended with them cancelling the last minute for not having communicated their authorization and location requirements clearly. I thought this was very unprofessional.
